TCAP Additional Time Request

Need additional time for your student to take the TCAP assessment?

If requested by a parent or student, a test administrator may allow a student up to an additional 20% of TCAP testing time per student, to ensure students are able to finish.

Please note:

1. Additional time may not be requested on portions of the test where additional time would invalidate the results of the test.  These portions of the tests are notated in the testing timing documents.
2. Additional time must be used consecutively to the required time limit for each test and is not allowed to be added on a different day.

Additional time may be requested in advance by contacting your school’s Building Test Coordinator.  Additional time may be requested on the testing day as well by students.
